So what's the story in taxis--do you put the car seat in or just keep her on your lap? I've wondered about this for quite some time actually. It's kind of a hassle to get the seat in right and usually a taxi ride is pretty short...
No babies in taxis without car seats!!! We found this out pretty quickly in Providence when a cabbie wouldn't take us to the train station. Luckily, he suggested that we ask the airl ine for a carseat. We did, and they gave us one for free. We've been lugging it around whenever we need to take a cab.
